Sonic Reboot Fanfic: Part 5

At the hills, far from the Lura kingdom, a female demon: Fate was impatient that the other demons are populating slowly. Soon, the flyer came with the news and speaks in a demon language.

Demon Flyer: ("We have received information about the king and queen's daughter.")

Fate: This better be good you fool!

Demon Flyer: ("The girl was going to evolve into a youth that will become professional and more intelligent.")

Fate: *grabs the flyer's neck in frustration* And what doe's that supposed to mean?!

Ifrit: ("Enough!")

Fate pauses and lets go of the flyer.

Ifrit: ("Your impatience is repelling your focus on what you are after.")

Fate: *scoff* Forgive me, Lord Ifrit.

Demon Flyer: *cough* ("I......also.......report.......that the........king...*cough*..........was planning......to...... .")

Fate: Speak!

Demon Flyer: ("Planning to visit...*cough*.....the kingdom where......the Sol guardian was born. *cough*")

Fate: So, Blaze has something for the king huh? Then I better investigate where they will take him.

Ifrit: ("Very well. But do not fail me.")

So Fate left to Blaze's kingdom where the Blaze was used to live there.

Next morning at the Lura kingdom, the king announces Katherine's 5th year anniversary. Anakin, Aurora, and Blaze were there watching Katherine place her fifth ball onto the shine's holder.

Animus: My fellow Lura chaos! It is with great honor to celebrate my daughter's 5th birthday. The time has come for my daughter to decide if she's either ready to evolve into her youth age or remain in her childhood age. Katherine will now begin placing her fifth Lura crystal ball into the shine holder.

Katherine who is holding the crystal ball walks to the shine and place the ball onto the holder. The ball shines and disappears. Then a statue's eyes turn bright and looked at Katherine and when he marks her 5th year, he begins to speak.

Lura Chao Statue: Katherine PureLove, you have reached the end of your childhood. However, you may step into this platform and evolve into your youth self, if.....this is the path you chose. The decision is now in your hands.

Katherine has to decide either she wants to become a teenager or not. She makes a speech first.

Katherine: First off, I wanted to thank my parents and my little brother for depending on me. And especially Blaze.

Animus, Aurora, and Anakin are here and are very proud that she's graduating from her childhood age. Even Blaze nodded in agreement.

Katherine: I gotta say, it's been fun being a kid that has confidence. Well, I know it wasn't fair to grow up even if I like playing with Anakin and all. But even if I became a youth, I'll always be his loving sister.

Everyone said aww with a sweet sound, while Anakin blushed then smiles and waves.

Katherine: And now, the time has come to fulfill my destiny. So..........I'm ready. *steps into the platform, the platform turns bright and shes levitated then turns into a cocoon*

The statue speaks again.

Lura Chao Statue: The decision has been made. From this day forward, Katherine PureLove is hereby: reshaped into her youth age.

Then the cocoon shines brightly, and then disappears, revealing a teenage Katherine floating down on the platform. She walks down to see her parents and her brother. Anakin hugged her and their parents joined in, which Katherine hugs them back. While Blaze watches them with appreciation.

Anakin: Even though you're a teenager, we can still spend time together when we get the chance, are we?

Katherine: *giggle* That's right Ani.

Animus: The time has come to begin your youth era.

Later after the celebration, Animus was about to leave when Aurora came to tell him something.

Aurora: Animus? Are you sure you'll be alright by yourself? Blaze should come with you too.

Blaze: I'm sorry your majesty. But I don't think I'm ready to meet my royal family face to face.

Animus: It will be fine Aurora. I wanted to have a tour around her kingdom and also wanted to find out a powerful gauntlet that was held in that chest. You'll be alright to take care of our kingdom, are you?

Aurora: I guess.....Very well.

Animus: I'll come back by nightfall. *left to travel to Blaze's kingdom*

Aurora: *felt sad and sigh* What am I supposed to do as queen?

Blaze: Don't worry, your majesty. I'm here by your side.

Aurora: I don't know........It's just that...I haven't got a chance to walk through the woods. It's where I can see roses. Maybe...... *thought about something* I think I'll have to find Katherine so I can ask her to take charge of this kingdom.

Blaze: What?! Your majesty! Are you sure this was a good idea?

Aurora: That depends. But ever since my daughter became a youth, I believe she'll manage just fine. In the meantime, you can help her while I was away with Anakin.

Blaze: *sigh* Very well. Please stay safe.

Aurora: I will Blaze.

A few minutes later, Aurora found her daughter who is training in martial arts to become a better protector. She walks in which startled Katherine.

Katherine: *gasp* Oh, Hi mother, I... didn't expect you to come in.

Aurora: *smiles* So, you train yourself to become a fighter?

Katherine: Well, it's the only way to protect my brother ever since the demons came roaming around.

Aurora: Yes, I fear this may happen. Say, maybe tomorrow we can train together. After all, I was taught in Martial Arts class too when I was your age.

Katherine: *smiles* Sure. I do need a teacher.

Aurora: *giggles* Anyways, I need a favor to ask.

Katherine: Sure mother, anything.

Aurora: Your father left me in charge of this kingdom and I was kind of feel........fatigued. Will it be alright if you take over for a little while, so I can spend time walking with my son?

Katherine: Ummm sure. How hard can it be?

Aurora: *hands her the list* Here is the list of what you do when you're in charge of this kingdom.

Katherine: Thanks, mother. *a little worried* I hope I don't mess things up.

Aurora: *giggles* You won't sweetie. And you'll have Blaze at your side as well. I'm sure she can help you out. Now I better go and find Anakin. Good luck on your first day, and try to be a strong leader until I come back. *leaves to find Anakin*

Katherine: Okay, I will. *thoughts*: ("I hope...")

Meanwhile, Animus arrive at Blaze's home where her royal family was waiting. Blaze's father greets him and shakes his hand.

Blaze's father: Greetings, king Animus. We've been expecting you.

Animus: Good day, sir. It was a lovely place for people like you.

Blaze's father: Yes indeed. And how is our daughter holding up?

Animus: She's perfectly alright my old friend. She told me that you have some sort of forbidden powerful gauntlet that was held inside this chest at the temple. And I understand that this was a very dangerous object.

Blaze's father: Ah yes. It is an unusual artifact that no one but our ancestor could ever utilize that power. Perhaps I can show you what it looks like.

While Animus & Blaze's father is talking, Fate was there using stealth and heard about the secrets.

Fate: A powerful artifact. *smiles* Hmmmmmmmm. *decides to follow them without being spotted*

Back at the Lura kingdom, Anakin was sitting on the chair, still thinking about what the hedgehog had said to him.

(Flashback)

Psychic Hedgehog: In just several months, The invasion will begin. And the demons will come to your kingdom.

Psychic Hedgehog: Sure of it. When that happens, find me and I'll open a portal to another world. Think about this you two. *teleports out*

(Flashback)

Anakin: Another......world? And what are demons?

Just then, Aurora came to him.

Aurora: There you are, Anakin. Look's like you've been daydreaming again. *giggles*

Anakin: Oh, Hi mother.

Aurora: Say, why not walk with me to the woods. I haven't spent time with you in a while.

Anakin: *smiles* Okay mother. *gets up and walks with her to the woods*

A few minutes later they arrive at the woods.

Aurora: *sits on a ground* well Anakin, here we are.

Anakin sits beside her mother.

Aurora: Isn't it lovely Anakin? The birds were singing, the flowers are blooming, and the trees are glistening green.

Anakin: It sure is beautiful, mother.

Aurora: And those red roses I see *points at the roses* are my favorite flowers ever since I was your age.

Anakin: *smiles* Yeah, they do remind me of you, mother. Just like my sister told me.

Aurora giggles.

Anakin: Speaking of Kath, where is she?

Aurora: Your sister is still in the kingdom taking over while we are away, just so I can spend some quality time with you.

Anakin: Oh, okay.

Aurora: *gets up* Let me show something special. Follow me Anakin.

Anakin nods and gets up to follows her.

Back at Blaze's kingdom, Fate was still spying on Animus and Blaze's unnamed father while they arrive at the place where the forbidden artifact was held inside this chest.

Blaze's Father: Inside this chest, contains the dimensional tool that you bear to hear about. They called it: The Inferno Gauntlet. For decades, this gauntlet was made by our people to use this artifact to send demons to an outland dimension. And after our ancestor uses his gauntlet to banish the Ifrit, they sealed this gauntlet inside this chest to ensure that it was never used, or found again.

Fate: *smiles while still hiding* Very interesting.

Animus: Now I realized how dangerous this artifact was.

Blaze's Father: Indeed. This gauntlet will only open the outland dimension. If someone falls into the wrong hands, they'll try to open dimension and free the Ifrit and the other demons.

Animus: That's all I need to know. Thank you for having me here.

Blaze's Father: It's been an honor meeting you again, old friend.

Animus nods and leaves the temple.

Blaze's Father: Seal this chest under the floor. Make sure no one will find this gauntlet.

Guard: Yes, your majesty.

They opened a trap door and put the chest inside. Then, he and the guards left the temple room while Fate was still hiding, then she finally comes out after the room it's empty.

Fate: Lord Ifrit. I have discovered the forbidden treasure that was a powerful tool that can open the dimension.

Ifrit: ("Ahhhh yes! This will be the key to my freedom. You have done well my servant. Retrieve this gauntlet and return to your place. And prepare for your final day with this artifact.")

Fate: Yes my lord. *chuckles and walks to the trap door, opened it and then opens the chest to reveal the Inferno Gauntlet and laughs with triumph*

Meanwhile, back with Anakin and his mother, they arrived at the statue of a Chao mage.

Aurora: This is Minerva FlashSpark. She was a powerful mage and also your grandmother.

Anakin: Wow, she looks very brave.

Aurora: That's right. And she's also wise too, just like your father. You know, I haven't seen my mother since I was a youth.

Anakin: Is she the one who can control four elements.

Aurora: Yes, and in the end, she became a hero. Everyone like me wished she would come back.

Anakin: I wish I could see her too.

Aurora: *smiles and looks up in the sky* It's getting late. We better head home Anakin.

Anakin: Okay. Thanks for showing me this statue mother.

Aurora: *giggles* Your welcome.

Several minutes later, they made it back home. And saw Katherine who is feeling exhausted.

Katherine: Hi, mother.......*yawn* Hi, Ani......

Aurora: So......how's everything going?

Katherine: It was tiresome, but at least *yawns* I managed it well.

Blaze: Yes...... Everything's in order, your majesty.

Aurora: Well done you two. Katherine, you can rest now.

Katherine: *breathes with relief* Thanks, mom.

Just then, Animus came back as well.

Aurora: *smiles* Welcome home, Animus.

Anakin: Hi, father.

Animus: Hello, Anakin. It's good to be home.

Blaze: How was the tour going?

Animus: It went well.

Blaze: And that powerful artifact?

Animus: It was dangerous all along.

Blaze: Well, good thing you are the wise king.

Animus: *laugh* Indeed.

Katherine: Come on Ani. Let's get you some sleep.

Anakin: Okay Kath.

Aurora: Good night Anakin.

Blaze: Have a good rest.

Anakin: I will.

In Anakin's room, Anakin was still puzzled about what that hedgehog said.

Katherine: What's wrong Ani?

Anakin: Nothing, nothing's wrong.

Katherine: You got to at least tell me. And maybe I can help you.

Anakin: *nervous at first, but sigh and explain* I'm still curious about what that hedgehog had said before he teleported away.

Katherine: I'm not sure what another world was he talking about either, Ani.

Anakin: *frightened* And what are those demons?

Katherine: *sigh* Well, they are a bunch of bad creatures that will try to catch us. Just like the Ifrit before he was banished.

Anakin: They're scary...

Katherine: I know, Anakin. But don't worry about it. Just try to get some rest, okay?

Anakin: Okay...

She hugged her little brother to give him some comfort and left his room with the door close. While Anakin, still worried it might come. And in the end, he fell asleep. Then, a psychic hedgehog who was on the castle walls watches Anakin sleeps before he teleported away.
